The governance of the Urban Agriculture Chair is placed under the control of a dual authority.

Composed of representatives of AgroParisTech, including the head of the chair, and a representative of each of the partner entities. The role of the CoPil, which meets once every three months, is to ensure the operational follow-up of the Chair's activities: teaching, research, project management, budget monitoring, activity report, development proposals, production of monitoring-evaluation indicators, promotion of research.
Meeting once a year, it is made up of the partners, the general management of AgroParisTech, possibly one or two outside personalities chosen jointly (one meeting per year). The role of the COE is to make an assessment to date of the chair, according to the established monitoring-evaluation framework: strategy, approval of the budget, examination of the activity report, communication, action plan for the coming year. It meets at the end of the period for a final assessment.
